Government Affairs & Policy Manager
Jacqueline Dobson is a Conservative Commentator, providing an enthusiastic voice as a female urban conservative to local media in Toronto.
She is also the Government Affairs & Policy Manager for one of Canada’s top-tier pharmaceutical companies. This role allows Jacqueline to advocate for improving the healthcare of Canadians by helping to shape the policy and political landscape at Queen’s Park and on Parliament Hill.
Jacqueline previously worked at Queen’s Park as the Policy and Stakeholder Relations Advisor to the MPP for Kitchener-Conestoga, who was also the Official Opposition Critic for Research, Innovation and Science. During this time, she advocated for equitable treatment for patients suffering from rare diseases.
As a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, Jacqueline began her career in politics and advocacy while on campus and served as President of the Mayor of Waterloo’s Student Advisory Council.
Jacqueline lives in Toronto, and is an active Board Member on both of her local Provincial and Federal Riding Associations for Etobicoke-Lakeshore.
In her free time, Jacqueline likes to volunteer with the Rotary Club of Etobicoke, ski in the winter, cottage in the summer and sing all year round.
